Product Description:

The 2021 Eleveight RS V4 Kite is set up perfectly for all around performance. The RS is a very user friendly high performance freeride kite that can cross over info freestyle, foil and surf yet is constant headliner on the Woo leader boards. It’s adjustable 5 point bridle can be quickly changed fit your style of riding from quick pivotal turns for the surf and foil to wider more powered turns for freeride and freestyle. Allowing you to go from surf to full send in seconds while maintaining the smooth solid feel that the kite is recognized for. Light Bar pressure and positive feedback allow you to stay on the water longer while knowing where the kite is at all times. The R is for Ride All and that’s exactly what it does.

RS V4 Design Vision
The highly efficient delta-hybrid design with a medium to high aspect ratio delivers outstanding freeride
performance while enabling riders also to chase waves and pop freestyle tricks. Version 4 is packed with
new features that enhance the performance even further. The kite delivers more feedback due to the
shorter bridle geometry, while the reduced bar pressure minimizes the strain on the forearms. A new
alignment of the tip struts decreases drag, resulting in faster flight speed and turning characteristics. We
also updated the leading edge wingtip diameter, making the kite quicker to respond to steering impulses.
Our new ultra-light load diffusers as well as the fully redesigned trailing edge with smart anti-vibration
patches, removed unnecessary weight, while improving stability and longevity. The new RS gets everyone
psyched in seconds.

Murrays Review:
The 2021 Eleveight RS V4 Kite is a comfortable and exciting kite that has something for everyone.  Weather it’s your 1st kite or you are trying to break your Woo records the RS will deliver.  Standout characteristics are stability, smooth power delivery, wide wind range and intuitive performance.  We love the RS for its amazing easily accessible all around performance.  Foiling, Freeride, Boosting, and Waves. The RS delivers.

We also love the tuneable bridle settings and find that they make this kite work for just about anyone.  It sounds kinda generic to call a kite great for everyone because it has been said so many times about do many kites that it means almost nothing.  But we love the consistent intuitive performance of the RS.  It has helped us teach and learn new tricks and techniques faster and easier than ever before.  The key seams be how consistently the kite performs that makes it feel so easy to fly, helping you to know what to expect and get what you want from the kite at all times allowing you to think more about what you want it to do instead of what you have to respond to.

For 2021 Eleveight reduced LE diameter and shortened bridle which have hightened the performance one step further. The V4 is a little bit faster and can fly a little further forward in the window while retaining all of the stability, consistency and predictability that make it so confidence inspiring and ready for anything from freeride to waves and foils.

Adjustable turning settings

We love this feature on the Eleveight kites.  We have seen kites with front bridle settings but this feature has never really been well explained or understood, and most kites that we have seen it on didn’t perform well outside of the standard setting.  But Eleveight has labeled the attachment points and the canopy to make it easy to use and understand.
.
The 3 settings are: Tip, Standard and Pivot.
These settings affect the axis that the kites turn on.  The settings dictate how large the turning diameter is in the sky, the power generated thru the turn and how long it takes to complete the rotation. On the user end they change how hard and how long you need to pull to get the kite thru a turn with Pivot being that quickest and Tip being the longest.

Pivot – This setting makes the kite to rotate on an axis in the center of the kite. This setting has the fastest rotation.  It spins around a central axis and redirects its self without needing to move up or down in the wind window.  This setting rotates the kite the fastest and with the least power generated thru the turn.  This is the best setting for quickly redirecting with the kite when you do not want to generate any additional power allowing you to put the kite exactly where you want it without getting pulled off course.  Surfers like this setting as it allows them to position the kite right where they want it and they can focus on the wave.

Standard – This setting makes the kite rotate on an axis half way between the center of the kite and its wing tip.  This setting will generate some additional power thru the turn but not a lot, and it will rotate only about half a kite width out side of a wingspan during a full bar tilt turn.  This is the happy medium setting that the kites come set on and most people ride on.  It allows the kite rotate quickly with out much effort and it can still make a sweeping turn to generate power when needed.

Tip – The Tip setting makes the kite pivot on its wingtip.  So the kite will change in altitude about one kite width.  This setting will generate the most power thru the turn and will take the longest to complete a rotation.  This is the setting for those who want the kite take a wider turning arch and to generate more power thru the turn.  Great for freeriders,  powered turns, boosting, and high winds as it slows down the tuning making it easy to handle when the wind wants to turn the kite really fast.
