A main halyard is used to raise the main sail. Our main halyard for Hobie® Wave with CompTip mast is constructed with 1/4″ polyester yacht braid line and stainless wire finished with captured halyard shackle, Constructed to factory specifications. Compare to Hobie Cat® #38651001.
Note: In 2021 and possibly earlier, Hobie sails came with the tack and head rings installed further from the edge of the sail. As such, our captured shackles no longer fit cleanly. Comptip Halyards made after Dec 2021 will come with the standard halyard shackle with captured pin.
