PRICES & SPECIFICATIONS
Murrays’ online store prices supersede all other published prices, including the Murrays catalog. On items with choices such as models for different boats, the initial price shown for the item may change based on your choices. The changes will always be clearly marked and the total price for any item will show in the shopping cart. Specifications are subject to change without notice. In cases of typographical or pricing errors, we will contact you prior to processing your order.
SHIPPING & HANDLING
We do our best to get you what you want as quickly as possible. Orders are normally shipped within 24 hours of receipt of your order and we will do our best to contact you if this is not possible. Shipping options and associated costs can be seen quoted from your shopping basket. We do our best to optimize shipping methods to get you your order as quickly as possible. Most orders will arrive within 3 to 4 days of purchase. There are additional shipping charges for oversized items, which is specified during checkout. There are occasions that we will contact you if the shipping cost is insufficient for the delivery. This is usually due to oversized packages going express and shipping to some international locations.
Basic delivery generally ships via FedEx SmartPost or US Postal Service and a mailing address is required. The estimated transit time is 5-10 working days, but may be longer to some locations such as HI, AK or US territories. The charge for basic shipping is 5% of goods ordered with a minimum charge of $8.95. We do our best to get you the fastest delivery times possible, many times we are able to upgrade your shipping to Priority mail which should take only 2-4 days for delivery.
Ground service ships by FedEx Ground Delivery or Priority Mail. Time in transit is normally 3-5 working days for addresses in the Continental US. The charge for ground shipping to addresses in the Contiguous US is 6% of goods ordered with a minimum charge of $10.95. Ground service can be as fast as overnight for many California residents and shouldn’t take more than 4 days to the east coast, but if you are in a rural area it could take longer. We use FedEx for our upgraded service option because it offers a robust delivery network and great package tracking.
Ground and Basic delivery times are estimated and do not come with any guarantee of delivery date. For guaranteed delivery dates, we have Expedited shipping via FedEx Express. We do not require signatures at delivery for residential deliveries unless requested, indirect signatures are required for deliveries to commercial addresses.
Expedited shipping options are also offered during the checkout process for orders to be shipped to Contiguous US addresses:
• 3-day service is 10% of your goods ordered with a minimum charge of $19.95.
• 2-day service is 15% of your order with a minimum charge of $29.95.
• Overnight shipping is 20% of your order with a minimum of $39.95.
• Overnight with Saturday delivery is available to most areas; please contact Murrays for availability and rates to your destination.
You will receive an email immediately after your delivery label has been created. There you will receive a link to your packages tracking number, please allow 12 hours for your tracking number to become active in the Fedex or USPS tracking system.
SPECIAL ORDER ITEMS
Special Order Items are items that Murrays dose not regularly stock, and are ordered after someone orders them. Special order items will usually ship within a few days unless otherwise noted. If an express shipping delivery method is selected it will not make the package ship any sooner, it will just shorten the time it takes to arrive once it has been shipped.
We can not guarantee transit times on international orders due to delays that can be caused by customs. For international orders, there are Express and Economy (Canada only) options at checkout. Murrays reserves the right to determine the shipping service used. We will contact you if the shipping charge will be more than indicated online. Please note that import duties and/or taxes are determined by the government of the recipient’s country and are the recipient’s responsibility. If the intended recipient refuses to pay the duties/taxes and the shipment is returned to Murrays, the customer will be responsible for the outgoing shipping costs plus return freight.
All prices are listed in US Dollars. You are responsible for any exchange rates or transaction fees that your credit card company may charge. Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges are the purchaser’s responsibility.
Any problems with your order? Wrong size? Wrong Item? Send it back with a receipt or packing list within 30 days for gear or apparel and 90 days for parts. We’ll refund your original payment method or exchange the item if it is in like-new condition. 20% restocking charges apply to special orders and items that are outside the return time frame. Items that are not in new condition will be dealt with on a case by case basis. Used goods are sold as-is and are not eligible for return without special consideration. Customer is responsible for return shipping costs, initial shipping is not refunded. Returns past 90 days may be accepted for Murrays credit. Special circumstances or concerns? Returns received without any documentation may have a $5 return processing fee applied.
WHAT IF MY PACKAGE IS DAMAGED?
Any shipping damage must be reported within 4 days of delivery. Contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or 805-684-8393 and we will be happy to assist you. To help us serve you better, please take photos of the damages, including damage to the packaging and detailed pictures of the damage to your items. Also please keep all packaging materials as you may need them later.
Items backordered on retail orders are automatically shipped as they become available and no additional shipping charges apply.
SATISFACTION GUARANTEE / RETURNS
We guarantee your satisfaction with products purchased from Murrays. Please contact Murrays at email@example.com or 1-800-786-7245 to resolve any issues or for authorization prior to returning items.
CREDIT CARD FRAUD
Credit card fraud is at an all time high these days. If an order raises any red flags, Murrays’ policy is to cancel the order with a note to “call for info”. Should you call us for info, we are happy to move forward with you, placing a new order, for the items you are interested in. We do this to protect ourselves as well as credit card holders everywhere. We do our best to catch these fraudulent orders as quickly as possible. Please contact us if you are concerned that your credit card has been used with us fraudulently.
