Wave Rudder Parts

The Hobie Wave started as an economical resort boat, built from the remnants of other Hobie Models. The SE or Classic model, was easily broken down and assembled completely within 30 min. The original boats used the rudder castings found on H17, latter model H18, and Miracle 20 sailboats. This was also true of the Getaway. As the boat grew into its own, the rudder system evolved. The current boats now have EZ-Loc systems with plastic rudder “castings” and different tiller X-bar assemblies. There are at least 5 different versions of tiller connections found on the Hobie Waves.
