It is the most versatile control bar you will ever own. Progressive Power Steering (industry first) Progressive custom line lengths synchronizes rider and kite to match wind conditions. NEW Full Suspension Bridle Slingshot’s full suspension bridle has been refined to perform in two critical modes of flight. • When the bar is sheeted out, and increased depower and passive stability become desired, performance requirements of the bridle react automatically. This auto adjustment of the bridle allows the kite to take on a latent role by transferring flying loads to the LE. • When the bar is sheeted in, the bridle kicks in to what Slingshot kite designer Amery Bernard calls “Full Suspension Mode." In this configuration, the bridle is in overdrive. The kite now becomes more powerful, fast and responsive, giving it an overall feeling that is very intuitive. The bridle can read and predict your every move. STANDARD FEATURES Rear CFI Attachment Points Truly customized kite performance for riding style and conditions. Most rear attachment point translates to less bar pressure, faster turning and easier relaunch. More forward attachment point translates to more pressure and overall kite “feel.” Open C Kite Design Platform The original DNA from the RPM comes from the Fuel. Sweeping the wing tips on a Fuel would be unheard of at Slingshot. In the effort to maintain tradition and be progressive, the RPM was born. The low profile squared off wing tip design gives it decreased wing tip drag, increased turning speed and allows for our enhanced CFI system. The RPM is setting unique trends in kiteboarding all while leading cosmetic trends. 3-Strut Design The RPM is the first kite to break 5 strut design barrier. Its “Open C” canopy design and Full Suspension Bridle create a canopy bridle synergy that liberated Slingshot designers’ need to build structure in the kite with struts. The RPM is the leader in 3 strut design. Its proven benefits include significant weight reduction, an intuitive feel, superior water relaunch and massive boost with increased hang time. There is also a common belief with our pro’s that less struts makes the kite more compact and packable. This makes the RPM the preferred globe trotting kite. Surf Tough Seams Developed by Tony Logosz and equipped standard on all Slingshot performance kites since 2002. Surf Tough seams set the standard for minimizing and containing canopy tears. Ballistic Aramid Scuff Guards • Increases durability in key wear point areas. • Increases durability and aerodynamics by reducing flutter on the trailing edge. This allows for a “clean” exit of air from the canopy which reduces drag.
