If you just need wind speed, this is the instrument for you! WM-100 includes a wind vane to ensure accurate measurements on the winds axis. Unlike other wind meters, the jackknife case allows more precise wind speed readings because the user's hand is distant from the wind impeller, which then measures undisturbed air flow. The Windmate 100™ has Swiss-made impeller components, is water resistant, shockproof and floats. The unit can be tripod-mounted for long-range shooting. All WindMates meet NIST calibration standards and wind speed accuracy tested better than +/- 3%. Two-year warranty.
