Revere's USCG/SOLAS-approved PFD strobe light is water activated and features microprocessor-controlled LED technology. Its light output and duration far exceed USCG requirements. In the auto mode, the light will time out after 2 minutes when not in the water. Typical light output is up to 5.5 cd (minimum requirement by USCG is .75 cd). Typical operation time is 72 hours (minimum requirement by USCG is 8 hours). If you twist the top and turn it on manually, it will stay on until you turn it off manually. Made of tough polycarbonate plastic with a no-slip design, the See-Me Rescue Light is waterproof, weatherproof and shatterproof. The 5-1/2"-long light includes a lanyard as well as an attachment clip to secure to all brands of life jackets. Requires 2 AA batteries (not included).
