Hobie Cat®'s Mama Bob Universal Mast Float aids in preventing your boat from going full turtle (mast straight down) when capsized, helping to prevent damage to your rig and sails should they contact the bottom. This model (Hobie® Cat #30112) replaces the mast-side mounted system (30113 Hobie Bob). The Mama Bob float has been adapted for use as a shaft-mounted “universal” mast float that does not rotate, but is held in a fore-aft position in alignment with the mast for minimum drag while sailing. The float is easily removed for racing or trailering. The Mama Bob Universal displaces 59 pounds of water, is 22" long x 18" diameter and weighs 7.1 lbs. with mounting hardware. Includes hardware similar to the original Hobie Bob (30113) system. Oversized item.
