A jib traveler system allows remote adjustment of the jib cars. This dramatically increases downwind speed and may help avoid a pitchpole caused by your crew moving leeward to make an adjustment by hand. Each of the following kits is complete with cleats, turning blocks, line, shock cord, fasteners and instructions. Photo shows recommended cleat locations, but cleats can be positioned to meet your individual needs. This kit is designed as an upgrade for Hobie® 16 with swivel cam cleats jib sheet system. Replace old Hobie® traveler cars with new Ronstan® traveler cars (#01-3130) and the existing cam cleats become part of the jib traveler control system. Kit also includes Harken cheek blocks, jib traveler control lines, shock cord to self-return jib cars to center, fasteners and instructions. Does not include swivel 360 cleats and bases.
