A trapeze shock cord is an absolute necessity because it keeps the trapeze system in place and ready for hook-up. On this kit for Hobie® 18, one hook connects to either the thimble on the trapeze wire or the adjustment line, then runs under the tramp and connects to the other side in the same location. The 3/16" shock cord stretches more and slides through ferrules better than larger diameter shock cord. Includes four 7' lengths of shock cord, each with a plastic carbine hook secured with a cinch ring on one end. Kit is supplied with 4 cinch rings to finish installation.
