I just wanted to send you a note to say how terrific your surf helmets are for windsurfing. My husband, Ben, and I wear our Surf Convertible and Original Surf helmets every time we sail. We've been wearing your brand for about 10 years now and they keep getting better and better.
I've encouraged all my girlfriends to get the surf helmets because they are the lightest and most comfortable helmet I've found. Other brands were loose and bulky, but Gath has always fitted well--even when hitting the water at high speeds. When doing tricks like looping, it protects us from breaking an eardrum.
Ben and I sail in big-wave conditions on Maui and in high-wind conditions in the Columbia River Gorge. In the past several years, I know of three deaths that occurred in the Gorge that probably would have been prevented, had the sailors worn helmets. Many of our friends are getting on the helmet bandwagon--finally. Many of us have found that we are trying more radical moves knowing that our heads are protected.
So thank you for protecting our noggins. Keep up the great work. I'm eyeing that pink surf convertible this year...
